Information for Authors of HSLA Steels 2005 and ISUGS 2005
Proceedings
The HSLA Steels 2005 and ISUGS 2005
Proceedings welcomes for consideration technical papers on various
engineering topics.
1. Presentation
The papers should be submitted within five pages in length and five
figures. The composition of manuscripts should be the following:
title, authors¡¯ names, affiliations, abstract, key words,
introduction, and body of paper, conclusions and references. See
details in attached format sample.
2. Typing
The manuscripts should be typewritten or printed by laser printer on
only one side of each standard A4 sheet and paginated throughout
(including the abstract, figure captions, tables, and reference
section). The printing should be in double column (excluding the
title, abstract and key words) in good book face of 10.5 p in total
of 44 lines. The margins for the page are 25 mm from upper and 20
from bottom edges; 20 mm from left and right edges.
3. Figures
The words, letters and symbols in figures should be in 7.5 p, the
vector and matrix in bold; and axis captions in coordinate graphics
should be complete and should include measure words, units and
symbols.
Figure size:
One column: 130-155 mm in width; Double column: 65-75 mm in width;
4. Tables
There should be only one table per sheet, with numbers and titles
placed above the tables, with three lines and auxiliary lines if
necessary. The words, letters and symbols in table should be in 7.5
p,
5.
Symbols
The symbols showing physic quantities, letters identifying points,
lines and plans should be in italics.
6. References
References should be numbered in the order they are mentioned in the
text. The reference section should be as the style shown below.
